Audit-Ready Climate Reporting: Australia's ESG Data Specialists
Mandatory climate reporting under the Australian Sustainability Reporting Standards is now law, and the deadlines are real: Group 1 entities report from the first half of 2026, Group 2 from financial years starting 1 July 2026, and Group 3 from July 2027. The hard part is not the disclosure template - it is the data. Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions sit scattered across ERPs, utility bills and supplier spreadsheets, with none of the audit-ready lineage assurance demands. Report Simple builds that ESG data layer and the reporting on top, in your own Power BI and Fabric estate. We do the data plumbing your sustainability advisers assume already exists.
Audit-Ready Lineage
Every emissions figure traces back to its source record with a documented methodology, so your ASRS climate disclosures stand up to the assurance the standard now requires.
All Three Scopes
We bring your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions together from ERPs, utility bills and supplier data into one structured dataset, replacing the spreadsheet rebuilt from scratch each reporting period.
Meet the Deadline
We build the emissions data layer well ahead of your ASRS reporting group's deadline, so you are ready to disclose with confidence rather than scrambling as the period closes.
Own It, Don't Rent It
Everything is built in your own Power BI or Fabric estate, so you keep your data and methodology in-house and avoid paying a carbon-SaaS subscription year after year.
Scope 3 Solved
We build a structured intake and calculation layer for the supplier and logistics data behind Scope 3, turning the hardest emissions category into a repeatable, governed process.

Our ESG & Climate Reporting Services
ESG Data Layer & Emissions Model
Build the foundation every climate disclosure actually needs. We design and build the ESG data model that brings your Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions together from the systems they hide in - ERPs, utility and fuel bills, fleet, travel and supplier data. Activity data is mapped to emissions factors with a clear, governed calculation methodology. The result is one structured, defensible emissions dataset feeding every report, rather than a fragile spreadsheet rebuilt each reporting period.
Scope 1, 2 & 3 Data Integration
Pull the scattered emissions data into one place automatically. We connect the sources behind your carbon footprint - finance and procurement systems, energy and fuel records, and the supplier data that makes Scope 3 so painful - into automated pipelines. Where data arrives as spreadsheets or PDFs, we build a structured intake for it. The manual, error-prone collection that consumes finance and sustainability teams each cycle is replaced with a repeatable, governed process.
Audit-Ready Lineage & Assurance
Make your numbers stand up to assurance. ASRS reporting will be audited, so every figure needs traceable lineage back to source and a documented methodology. We build that lineage and the controls around it, so an assurer can follow any number from the disclosure back to the utility bill or invoice behind it. Your climate reporting moves from a defensible-looking spreadsheet to genuinely auditable data, which is exactly what the standard demands.
ASRS & AASB S2 Reporting Dashboards
Turn the data into the reporting your board and regulators need. We build interactive ESG and climate dashboards aligned to ASRS and AASB S2 - emissions by scope, intensity metrics, trends and progress against targets - plus the structured outputs your disclosure requires. Your sustainability and finance teams get live visibility instead of a once-a-year scramble, and the board can see performance against commitments whenever they need to.
In Your Own Estate, Not Another Subscription
Own your ESG reporting instead of renting it. We build all of this in your existing Power BI or Microsoft Fabric environment, not a separate carbon-SaaS platform you pay for forever and never control. You keep your data, your methodology and your reporting in-house, integrated with the rest of your business reporting. It is the data plumbing your Big-4 or sustainability advisers assume already exists - and usually the more cost-effective path.

TRUSTED BY
Our Proven ESG Reporting Process
Our senior specialists assess your emissions data, build an audit-ready data layer, and deliver ASRS-aligned reporting in your own estate.
1
ESG Data Readiness Assessment
We assess where your Scope 1, 2 and 3 data lives, the gaps against ASRS and AASB S2, and how far your current process is from audit-ready. We map the sources, the methodology and the assurance requirements for your reporting group and timeline. You receive a fixed-price proposal and a clear data readiness roadmap before any build begins.
Build the Data Layer & Reporting
2
We build the emissions data model, connect and automate the Scope 1-3 sources, and establish the lineage and controls that make the numbers auditable. On top we deliver ASRS-aligned dashboards and disclosure outputs in your Power BI or Fabric estate. Every figure traces back to source, validated against your methodology.
Assurance Support & Handover
3
We document the methodology and lineage so your numbers stand up to assurance, and support you through the audit conversation. Your team is trained to run and extend the reporting, and we stay available as the standards and your reporting group evolve. You own audit-ready climate reporting that holds up year after year.
ESG Reporting Dashboard FAQs
How much does ASRS climate reporting cost to set up in Power BI?
We quote ESG and climate reporting builds as a fixed price after a short data readiness assessment, rather than open-ended day rates. The cost depends mainly on how scattered your Scope 1-3 data is and how much automation and lineage you need. Building in your own Power BI estate also avoids the ongoing yearly cost of a carbon-SaaS subscription. Specialist Australian consultants are around $200 to $250 or more per hour for ad-hoc work.
For how we structure pricing, see our Power BI pricing page.
When do we have to start climate reporting under ASRS?
It depends on your group: Group 1 (the largest entities) report from the first half of 2026, Group 2 entities for financial years starting 1 July 2026, and Group 3 from July 2027. Mid-market organisations mostly fall into Group 2, meaning the first reporting period has effectively begun, so the data work needs to start now. Because building an audit-ready emissions data layer takes months, leaving it until the disclosure is due is the most expensive way to comply.
Why is Scope 3 emissions data so hard to report?
Scope 3 is hard because the data sits outside your organisation - in your suppliers, logistics and purchased goods - and arrives as inconsistent spreadsheets, estimates and emissions factors rather than clean system data. Pulling it together manually each year is slow and error-prone, and it rarely has the lineage assurance requires. We build a structured intake and calculation layer for Scope 3 so it becomes a repeatable, governed process instead of an annual scramble across dozens of supplier files.
Can we do carbon and ESG reporting in Power BI rather than a separate platform?
Yes - Power BI and Microsoft Fabric are well suited to ESG and carbon reporting, and building there means you own your data and methodology instead of renting a carbon-SaaS subscription forever. Your emissions reporting sits alongside the rest of your business reporting, in an estate you control, integrated with finance and operations. For most mid-market organisations already using Power BI, this is both cheaper over time and more flexible than a standalone sustainability platform.
It builds on a solid data foundation - see our data analytics consulting page.
Will our ESG data stand up to audit and assurance?
Only if it has traceable lineage and a documented methodology - which is exactly what we build in. ASRS climate disclosures are subject to assurance, so every emissions figure must be traceable from the report back to the source record and calculated by a defensible method. We engineer that lineage and the controls around it, so an assurer can follow any number to the utility bill or invoice behind it. Your reporting moves from defensible-looking to genuinely auditable.
